The Torah Fund campaign cannot accept checks made payable to JTS. Do not combine any Women’s League payments with Torah Fund checks.
If you wish to make a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) or IRA donation, please contact our Torah Fund Administrative Assistant, Isabella Berthel, at TFAA@wlcj.org or call 405-870-2160.
Click here to donate online. An email acknowledgement may be sent for gifts made “in honor of” or “in memory of.” For donations of $18 or more, an acknowledgement letter may be sent by mail.
Torah Fund contributions may be made online by:
On the Torah Fund online donation platform, select the payment method button of Check/Pledge/IRA/Stock. You will receive an e-mail confirmation that will include a pledge ID code. Save this confirmation e-mail that contains your pledge ID code as you will need the pledge ID code to make future payments towards your pledge.
To make a partial or full online payment towards your pledge, visit wlcjmembers.org/torahfund and select “Make a Pledge Payment”. Enter your pledge ID code, select “Find Pledge” and enter the amount you want to pay. You can pay by: credit or debit card, Google Pay, Apple Pay or DAF. Please note that your payment must be submitted by December 31st to receive a tax deduction for the current calendar year.
Mail your check payable to Torah Fund to the Torah Fund office, 3080 Broadway, Suite K900, New York, NY 10027. Enter your pledge ID cod on the memo line of your check. You may pay in full or make partial payments. Please note that your payment must be postmarked by December 31st to receive a tax deduction for the current calendar year.
For all of these methods of payment, call Isabella Berthel, Torah Fund Administrative Assistant, in the Torah Fund office at 405-870-2160 or email TFAA@wlcj.org. Please do not leave any account information on voicemail or email.
Visit wlcjmembers.org/torahfund and select “US E-cards”. Please remember to enter your sisterhood affiliate, city and state when purchasing an E-card.
Donations of $180 or more are eligible to receive a gift of a pin. The pins vary depending on level of donation.
Benefactors and Guardians may obtain their Torah Fund pin from their Sisterhood Affiliate Torah Fund Chair/Vice President or contact Isabella Berthel, Torah Fund Administrative Assistant, at 405-870-2160 or email TFAA@wlcj.org.
For other levels, you may receive your pin at the WLCJ Convention or the Torah Fund office will mail it to you. If you do not receive your pin or would like a higher-level pin, please call the Torah Fund office at 405-870-2160.

NEW! For online donations, select the sisterhood affiliate to receive credit for your Torah Fund donation. If you mail a check directly to the Torah Fund office, please write on the memo line of the check the name and city of the sisterhood affiliate that should receive credit for the donation.
The Torah Fund office will send Benefactor and Guardian pins to each Sisterhood Affiliate Torah Fund Chair/Vice President based on the sisterhood affiliate’s request to their Region Torah Fund Vice President. In a convention year, pins may be picked up at the WLCJ Convention. If no one from your affiliate attends convention, the Torah Fund office will mail pins to the sisterhood after the convention.
The Sisterhood Affiliate Torah Fund Chair/Vice President will need to complete the Donation Transmittal Form and send it to the Torah Fund office with the checks. The address is Torah Fund, 3080 Broadway, Suite K900, New York, NY 10027. The checks should be mailed using a trackable method, such as US Priority Mail. Checks should be sent monthly. Do not hold checks for longer than a month. Keep a copy of the transmittal form for your records.
Sisterhood Affiliate Torah Fund Chairs/Vice Presidents and Region Torah Fund Vice Presidents will be able to access donation reports via the WLCJ website. Details will be provided in the weeks ahead.

We prefer to receive individual donor checks made payable to Torah Fund so that we can give individual credit and issue email thank you receipts for tax purposes.
However, Torah Fund will accept one payment payable to Torah Fund covering multiple donors as long as the payment is accompanied by a transmittal form listing the details for each donor. Unfortunately, in this situation, Torah Fund is unable to issue thank you receipts for tax purposes. The sisterhood should issue the tax receipts.

Write a cheque payable to “Jewish Theological Society”. Each donor will be mailed a tax receipt by February of the following year. There are two ways to send a cheque for your donation:

Please write on the check’s Memo Line the name and city of the sisterhood affiliate that should receive credit for the donation. You may also make an online donation at wlcj.org.
