The Torah Fund campaign cannot accept checks made payable to JTS. As in the past, do not combine any Women’s League payments with Torah Fund checks. If you wish to make a DAF (Donor Advised Fund) or IRA donation, please contact our Torah Fund Manager, Morgan Long, at TFManager@wlcj.org or call 405-870-2159.
Effective July 1, 2026, online donations may be made at wlcj.org and click on the “Donate to Torah Fund” button. For donations of $10 or more, an email acknowledgement will be sent for gifts made “in honor of” or “in memory of.” For donations of $18 or more, a mailed acknowledgement letter will be sent.

For other levels, you may receive your pin at the WLCJ Convention or the Torah Fund office will mail it to you. If you do not receive your pin or would like a higher level pin, please call the Torah Fund office at 405-870-2160.

For legacy bequests, please contact your Region Torah Fund Vice President. She will send you the Torah Fund Legacy Society Bequest Confirmation form and Torah Fund Legacy Society Making a Bequest in Your Will form (if applicable).

NEW! For online donations, you may select the sisterhood affiliate to receive credit for your Torah Fund donation. If you mail a check directly to the Torah Fund office, please write on the memo line of the check the name of the sisterhood affiliate that should receive credit for the donation.
The Torah Fund office will send Benefactor and Guardian pins to each Sisterhood Affiliate Torah Fund Chair/Vice President based on the sisterhood affiliate’s request to their Region Torah Fund Vice President. For the Shema Koleinu pins, sisterhood affiliates can pick up their pins at the WLCJ Convention. If no one from your affiliate attends convention, the Torah Fund office will mail pins to the sisterhood after the convention.
The Sisterhood Affiliate Torah Fund Chair/Vice President will need to complete the Donation Transmittal Form and send it to the Torah Fund office with the checks. The address is Torah Fund, 3080 Broadway, Suite K900, New York, NY 10027. The checks should be mailed using a trackable method, such as US Priority Mail. Checks should be sent monthly. Do not hold checks for longer than a month.

We prefer to receive individual donor checks made payable to Torah Fund so that we can give individual credit and issue email thank you receipts for tax purposes. However, Torah Fund will accept one payment payable to Torah Fund covering multiple donors as long as the payment is accompanied by a transmittal form listing the details for each donor. Unfortunately, in this situation, Torah Fund is unable to issue thank you receipts for tax purposes. The sisterhood should issue the tax receipts.

Yes. The Jewish Theological Society accountant will accept one cheque from a sisterhood affiliate if it is accompanied by a Transmittal Form listing all donors and their mailing addresses and email addresses. Each donor will be mailed a tax receipt in February of the following year.
