[This Program is scheduled on Eastern Time Zone]

WL Reads

Shira Dicker, a self-described daughter of the first wave of feminism, portrays bold Jewish American women in a New York world that is from 1974 into the new millennium. She writes energetically, capturing a time and place so well, not with nostalgia but with clarity, compassion and humor. Dicker gets the details just right, like the power struggles between friends, lovers and parents. Sometimes heartbreaking, sometimes hilarious these stories will totally engage the reader.

Read along with your sisters and join WL Reads for a discussion with Shira Dicker on Monday, April 28th at 3:00 pm Eastern Time. Even if you haven’t had the opportunity to read the book by then, join us anyway. It will definitely whet your interest.
