On behalf of the WLCJ 2023-2026 Membership Team, “Thank you!” as we wrap up a successful term of office. During this time the WLCJ Membership Team has run two campaigns highlighting our wonderful members of Women’s League.
We began with a Why WL? Zoom in December 2024 showcasing some of our members and, subsequently, shared articles from September 2024 through June 2025 with personal stories in WL Week under the Membership Matters Banner.
From January 2026 through June 2026, we focused attention on the WLCJ Individual Members with their stories of Why WLCJ Individual Membership. We hope you found these stories interesting, heartwarming and inspiring. All the stories are now available on the website www.wlcj.org.
Please find these stories under the Member Services dropdown menu. Also, if you log in and choose “Download WLCJ Member Materials,” “Membership Testimonials” are in the Individual Members Folder and Why Women’s League stories are in the Sisterhood Resources Folder.
Very often, the stories emphasize that there is access to many opportunities to enhance your knowledge and attain the means to advance yourselves within the areas of Conservative Judaism and on a personal level, too. Whether it is by attending Sisterhood events, WLCJ virtual programs, Leadership Institute or workshops at Region Conferences and WLCJ Convention, there are many ways to benefit from membership.
It has been an interesting three years of teaching and learning on our part. We, on the WLCJ Membership Team, are grateful to have had the opportunity to “volunteer” together and hopefully enrich our “sisters” in WLCJ. Personally, I want to thank each and every one of the members of the 2023-2026 Membership Team who stood together, supported each other and me, and contributed to an enriching journey.
‘Til we meet again – hopefully in person, at WLCJ Convention 2026 in Alexandria, VA. B’Shalom.
