Chapters and brothers will be provided with materials about victims, hostages, and survivors of 10/7, and are asked to do acts of community service in remembrance of the fallen and in honor of the hostages. They are encouraged to maximize their impact by partnering with other organizations on campus, including campus Jewish/pro-Israel organizations, non-Jewish allies, faith-based organizations, and other fraternities and sororities. October 7 Ceremony: From Agony to Harmony is a ceremony commemorating the first anniversary of the October 7th events. The ceremony consists of readings, songs, testimonies, videos that can be screened in the background and traditional prayers that have been revised following the events. Download the ceremony booklet in Hebrew and English HERE.
Courage Under Fire: This collection of testimonies brings together different civilian perspectives on the events of October 7th: women and men, senior citizens, families and children. Through the stories of survivors, we seek to commemorate those who were murdered and give a voice to the voiceless hostages who still remain in captivity. These voices shed light on the stories of whole communities whose lives were shaken to the core one morning. This booklet of testimonies includes songs, poems and discussion questions for commemorating the October 7th anniversary in an intimate and meaningful way. Receive a copy of the booklet HERE.
Bring Them Back: This exhibit showcases works created by independent artists in response to the events of October 7th, shedding a chilling light on the collective pain experienced by our society. It is available to download at no cost and use in your community commemorating the one-year anniversary of the October 7th attack. Download a copy of the exhibit HERE.
