Death of Senator Frank Lautenberg

Women’s League for Conservative Judaism is saddened by the death of Senator Frank Lautenberg earlier this week.

Senator Lautenberg, who served the state of New Jersey with distinction, was a staunch advocate for Israel, Jews worldwide, the rights of women, and the protection of children and immigrants.

We extend our condolences to the Lautenberg family and to the members of the US Senate who lost a true leader with the passing of Frank Lautenberg.
