Criminal Justice Reform Act of 1975 (S-1)

Women’s League for Conservative Judaism favors the codification of Federal Criminal Laws, but is opposed to the additional provisions of S-1 which would extend the power of the Federal government over individuals and significantly decrease the freedom of individual Americans.

We therefore oppose the enactment of S-1, and urge the Congress to enact separate bills which can be debated on their own merits and acted upon separately.
