Inclusion 101
Why is inclusion important to us in 2024, and what can we all do to make our Sisterhoods and congregations welcoming and accessible to all?
Our synagogue families include people who are living with all sorts of challenges. What a mitzvah it is to make life easier for everyone! In this program we will learn from the experiences of our panelists who have started inclusion committees in their synagogues.
Our panel of lay leaders and clergy are Renee Klass and Marilyn Rebnord of the Inclusion Committee at Congregation Beth Judea (Long Grove IL); Janet Gunner, Founder and co-chair of the Temple Beth Tzedek (Amherst, NY) Kesher Inclusion committee; and Rabbi Danielle Bensimhon from Temple Beth David (Palm Beach Gardens FL).
Zoom link will be sent upon registering.
Registration is open to WL members (in the USA & Canada), you must log in (https://www.wlcjmembers.org/member_login.php) to register for this program. If you need assistance, please contact the office (405) 870-1260.
