Randy Susan Meyers is an international bestselling author of six novels. Three of Meyers’ novels were each chosen as a “Must-Read Book” by the Massachusetts Center for the Book, an affiliate of the Library of Congress, for her clear, captivating voice.

How altruistic are you? What would you sacrifice to eradicate racism, antisemitism, poverty, gender bias, and war? How much would you give up to advance human rights and social justice in America? Randy Susan Meyers explores these urgent questions in what is sure to be one of the most compelling books of 2024, The Many Mothers of Ivy Puddingstone.

A Brooklyn-Boston hybrid, Meyers draws on her experience in community work—and four formative years as a neighborhood bartender—to illuminate family dynamics, social issues, and cultural politics. She lives in Boston, teaches at the Grub Street Writer’s Center, and believes happiness includes books, loved ones, and the occasional New York bagel.
