Please join us on August 6th at 1 PM ET for a webinar offered by the Racial Justice Subcommittee, entitled “Reclaiming the Value of History and Inclusion.” At this time when the value of history and truth are deeply challenged, and the dignity of many human beings is severely compromised, come learn about how you can use two new offerings of the Racial Justice Subcommittee of the Social Justice Commission in your community.
(1)One resource is a one-session introduction to our 1619 Project Discussion Group, that 12 congregations successfully engaged in this past spring. This project is a dive into historical truth and deep learning – personally and communally.
(2)The second resource is our new “Beginner’s Guide to Jews of Color Inclusion,” a brief manual for beginning or jumpstarting your congregation/organization’s work on JoC Inclusion. So many of us want to change what is happening in D.C. Why not start with working on these issues in your own community?
This invitation is available to a group of leaders, to help you learn how you might be able to use these two resources during the hagim and beyond.
We will meet in my zoom room on August 6th at 1 PM ET. To receive the Zoom link, please email: rebamy@eilberg.com
