Menstrual Equity for All
Period. End of Sentence.
Mon / May 23 / 7:00 pm / 87th Street and Online
Melissa Berton, Anita Diamant, and Rabbi Koffman
Millions of girls and women around the world face an end to their education and career advancement because of stigma surrounding menstruation and lack of access to safe and clean products. Initiated by Melissa Berton’s Oscar-winning film and fueled by best-selling author Anita Diamant’s companion book of the same name, Period. End of Sentence., Berton and Diamant will share stories of how the nonprofit organization the Pad Project collaborates with local communities to build agency, education, and opportunity, all toward a future when “a period should end a sentence, not a girl’s education.”
