The Book of Ruth is read each year on Shavuot. How does this story speak to us and to our relationships with the women in our lives today? How can we learn from this story in order to enrich our own relationships? Join Women’s League Florida Region and discover a deeper understanding of this story. Through text, workshops and discussion we will consider how we navigate our own personal relationships.

Carry Your Courage: The Florida Region Community Service Project for
The Haven, a non-profit organization helping victims of domestic violence
We will be bringing and assembling bags for women and children:
Women: Tote bag, shampoo/conditioner, deodorant, body spray(perfume), toothbrush/toothpaste, facial wipes, nail clippers/file, tampons/pads, comb, socks, chapstick, gum/mints, small gift card (CVS, Walmart, Walgreens, or fast food), magazines.
Children: Tote bag, comb/brush, hair ties/clips, stuffed animal, socks, snacks, activity books/word search, coloring book/crayons
This Community Service Project Culminates at the Florida Region Retreat.
