Three Rabbis Discuss the Other in Judaism,” a panel discussion hosted by Professor Alice Shalvi, former rector of the Schechter Institute of Jewish Studies, on the “other” within different streams of Judaism. Rabbanit Dr. Jennie Rosenfeld, spiritual leader in Efrat, spoke about Orthodoxy’s approach to singles and families without children. Rabbi Myra Hovav of Ramot Shalom in Beer Sheva spoke about the Reform movement and issues facing Israelis of Ethiopian origin.
