“Home is not where you live, but where they understand you.” – Christian Morganstern

Shabbat Shalom!

As we are all trying to get everything done, in preparation for Passover…whether that means cleaning, shopping and cooking…or packing and heading to a resort, camp, cruise…or heading to the airport to visit parents, kids, family or friends…this quote seemed to speak to me this morning!

Regardless, of where each of us spends the holiday..or how..the most important aspect is that we tend to be with those that understand us…our values, our interests, our goals…and our spiritual being!

I feel that the same can be said of our involvement in our sisterhood, our region and WLCJ….I go and participate and keep going back, because I found a place where I am understood. I have found a place where I have others surrounding me with the same Jewish values, the same need to further my Jewish education and a place where I have made live long friends.

As we sit around the Seder table on Monday evening…enjoy yourselves, take a breath and long around the table or room..and know that you are home, because those that are with you, understand who you are.

Shabbat Shalom and wishing each of you a sweet, kosher Pesach from our family to yours,
Carol
