March 10 Message

“Sometimes your joy is the source of your smile, but sometimes your smile can be the source of your joy.” – Shabbat Shalom!

It’s Adar! It’s Purim! It’s time for gift giving, Purim carnivals, and eating yummy hamentashen! It is a time to drink until your happy! And a time to think of others…to bring a smile to the faces of those less fortunate than each of us.

It is a time to make others smile! And a time to have others do for us, to bring a smile to our faces!

This past week, I have been smiling! I have had great joy in seeing old friends, making new ones and traveling to two regions. My joy is certainly my source of my smile!

WLCJ had a wonderful day, celebrating with PSW region, as they acknowledged their 70th anniversary. I hope that you have been able to see all of the pictures that many of us have shared on Facebook. We were joyous, as we relived their 70 years through pictures from the region and many of the sisterhoods.

Purim is our celebration..acknowledging our history and sharing the traditions that make us happy! So whether you are still baking, putting together Shalach Manot or simply attending the Purim carnival in your community, be joyous, be happy and keep smiling!
