“We will open the book. It’s pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called “opportunity” and it’s first chapter is New Year’s Day.” – Edith Pierce
Shabbat Shalom!
How lucky we are as a people…we get two chances during the calendar year to celebrate a new year…with a different kind of celebrations, but nonetheless, an opportunity to start anew. An opportunity to examine our goals…have we reached them, or where we are in the progress of reaching our goals.
Our two “New Years”, also give us the opportunity to reach out to our “sisters”…to fill those blank pages with events planned with new team members, or plans to try something new.
I hope that each of you spend some time this Shabbat, thinking about what YOU want to fill those blank pages with.
Wishing each of my “sisters” a very sweet and meaningful Shabbat and a very Happy 2017!
B’Shalom,
Carol
