“Patience, persistence and perspiration make an unbeatable combination for success.” – Napoleon Hill

Shabbat Shalom!

This past week, we joined a myriad of other organizations in taking part in a new tradition, #givingTuesday.
It was through patience of sharing our goals, teaching many of us how to share on Facebook or “sneezing” and then the persistence of many of us to keep posting on our Facebook pages that success was achieved. Though we did not reach our goal….we were able to connect to our members and even heard from people that are not part of WLCJ, but our goal to supporting our Study Days in Israel resonated to them. I would like to thank all of you that joined in our #givingTuesday campaign, to our Communications team…Illene Rubin, Lara Werwa and Rhonda Kahn for all of their hard work!

These three words…patience, persistence and perspiration can be attributed to many things that we do in our lives, whether personally or for our sisterhoods. It takes all three to create a successful event, program, or project. The patience to listen to all ideas with an open mind, the persistence to strive to create the very best that you can, and the perspiration to keep working together. However, what we should always keep in mind…that it is the success that is most important…and that to achieve that we all need to work together. The best words of advise that I recently heard, was that if you want to make something work, you will find a way to get it done. Does that mean that you need patience, persistence and perspiration…probably! But if we keep these three words on the tips of our tongues….success will be the third “P” word…it will be a possibility!

Wishing each of you a sweet, peaceful and meaningful Shabbat,
Carol
