The Conservative Movement responds to the cancellation of a Bar/Bat Mitzvah Celebration for Children with Special Needs in Israel

The leadership of the movement has asked Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to intercede with the ultra-orthodox mayor of Rehovot who cancelled the bar/bat mitzvah celebration at the eleventh hour because it was to be held in a Masorti (Conservative) synagogue. Read the letter here.
