Help Women's League
ensure the next generation of Conservative leaders on
college campuses

Women's League for Conservative Judaism is the largest synagogue based women's organization in the world. As an active arm of the Conservative/Masorti movement, we provide service to hundreds of affiliated women's groups in synagogues across North America and to thousands of women worldwide.

Each person has a voice. Many voices - together - make a difference. We invite you to add your voice to the largest network of synagogue women in the world. Membership in Women's League offers you the opportunity to be heard. Your voice does have an impact!

MESSAGE FROM RITA WERTLIEB, PRESIDENT

"Uri! Uri! Awake! Greet the New Dawn!"

This is the Women's League theme for 5772 (2011-2012). It meshes beautifully with our commitment to hiddur mitzvah, the enhancement of the observance of our traditions.

Many of us remember how our grandmothers prepared for Shabbat each week and for the holidays each in their own season. We recognize that these observances went through changes in every generation as they passed from our grandmothers, to our mothers, to us, and now to our children and grandchildren. As we transmit them, we celebrate each family's unique customs, but we also add our individual perspectives and creativity. For modern Jewish women this is indeed a "new dawn."

Conservative Jewish Women Add Their Voices to Protest Attacks Against Women in Israel
Women’s League for Conservative Judaism strongly condemns the recent incidents in Israel demeaning women.  We were shocked by the news that an 8-year-old girl was terrified to walk to school, by the missing images of women removed from advertisements, by women being forced to sit in segregated areas on buses. The list goes on. click here
