DESCRIPTION:שיחןת בין אחיות\,&nbsp\;Sichot beyn Achayot\, mean
 s “Conversations between Sisters.” This program is designed to foster 
 a deeper mutual understanding between the members of WLCJ in North America
  and the Masorti women from Israel. It is designed to address the question
 \, “How are we the same\, and how are we different?” The theme of this
  year’s program is:\nבכל מקום בו שאנו שוכנים הלב 
 של כולנו נח בישראל\nNo Matter Where We Live Our Hearts are 
 in Israel\nThe three sessions will each concentrate on one specific aspect
  of the important connections we all have with the land of Israel and will
  include presentations from speakers from both sides of the Atlantic. Each
  workshop will also include an opportunity for all attendees to become par
 t of the conversation.\n&nbsp\;\n\nSession Three\nThursday\, December 19\,

 00 AM PT \n\n\nTitle: באו ורשו את-הארץ\, Go in and possess th
 e land.&nbsp\; Many feel compelled to fulfill this mitzvah. What issues ar
 e involved in making aliyah and handling the relationship with family memb
 ers both in Israel and the Diaspora. Conversely\, how are these relationsh
 ips affected when a family member makes the decision to leave Israel?\n\n\
 n\n\n\nGuest Speakers:\n\nMarc Rosenberg&nbsp\;is the VP of Diaspora Partn
 erships at Nefesh B'Nefesh – a non-profit organization that is revitaliz
 ing Aliyah from North America.&nbsp\; He is an experienced educator and co
 llaborates with several educational institutions in Jerusalem and around t
 he world. Originally from Cherry Hill\, NJ\, Marc lives in Jerusalem with 
 his wife and family.\n&nbsp\;\n\n\n&nbsp\;\n&nbsp\;\n&nbsp\;\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
 \n\n\nBryna Kurtz is a senior manager with over 20 years of experience in 
 public accounting.\nShe provides accounting and tax services for small to 
 medium size closely held businesses. Bryna has worked most extensively in 
 the areas of individual tax compliance\, family trusts and estate\, and fa
 mily wealth planning. Her areas of specialization include family trusts\, 
 tax consulting for not for profits and tax planning for high net worth ind
 ividuals.\nBryna provides accounting services in English and Hebrew.\nBryn
 a enjoys traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren i
 n Israel and Boston.\n\n\n\n\n\nRabbi Paul Freedman is Chairman of the Mas
 orti Committee on Aliyah and Klitah. Before making aliyah in 1991\, he ser
 ved as International Director of USCJ’s Department of Youth Activities. 
 He and his wife\, Nina\, host groups in their Jerusalem home. In his role 
 as Committee Chairman\, he has initiated a number of programs and services
  related to making aliyah from our Movement and supporting successful klit
 ah. He is especially proudthat all their sons \,grandchildren and great gr
 andchildren live in Israel.\n\n\n\n\nRabbi Amy Levin\,&nbsp\;is the immedi
 ate past President of the Rabbinical Assembly of Israel\, and is the secon
 d woman to be ordained by the Masorti/Conservative Schechter Rabbinical Se
 minary in Jerusalem. Rabbi Levin has trained in the Rav Hamachshir program
  of The Jewish Theological Seminary and the "Consulting for Vital Congrega
 tions" program of The Alban Institute\, has taught at the Schechter Instit
 ute\, Hebrew Union College in Jerusalem and The Conservative Yeshiva. Rabb
 i Levin serves on the Committee on Jewish Law and Standards and the Vaad H
 akavod\, the Ethics Committee\, of the international Rabbinical Assembly. 
 She lives on Hanaton in Israel’s lower Galilee from where she provides c
 onsulting services and strategic advising to congregations and clergy thro
 ugh her platform:Tzibur Strategies: for Thriving Sacred Communities and Th
 eir Leaders.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSara Miriam Liben&nbsp\;grew up outside 
 of Boston and made aliyah after graduating from the Joint Program between 
 Columbia University and the Jewish Theological Seminary\, where she majore
 d in Sociology and Gender Studies in Judaism. Since moving to Israel\, her
  work has focused on the relationship between Israel and Jews around the w
 orld both at Masa Israel Journey as Director of Leadership Development and
  as the Manager of Community and Operations at Kehilat Tzion in Jerusalem.
  She lives in Tel Aviv with her husband Adam and their many plants.\n\n\n\
